VS-628-03 Group Control


The VS-628-03 Group Control can be used with either the VS-619 or VS-628 machine control system. With it added to either system, operators can select one or more groups as active and control that highlighted group or groups separate from the rest of the system. Those groups can be deselected and left to do what they are doing, e.g. record a program, while other groups are selected and other functions performed with those groups. Mostly, the Group Control is used to record several different programs at the same time. A group can be one interface or several interfaces. Group controls only affect the machine control portion of the VS-628-01 system.

VS-628-422 Remote Control Interface

For control of up to 10 RS-422 VTRs and VCRs, the VS-628-422 interface can be added to either the VS-628 or VS-619 systems. When used with the VS-628 system, each VS-628-422 acts as a follower to a VS-628-24 interface. The regular serial ports on the VS-628-24 are then not used. When used with the VS-619 system the interface acts in the system just as a VS-619-24 interface except, of course, the machine control type is RS-422.

The VS-690-04 allows the use of older parallel U-Matic and VHS machines with serial duplication components such as VS-628-24 and VS-619-01/VS-619-24.
